Hi, I’m Nuria.
I was born in Bruges, Belgium, and I’ve been painting, drawing, and sewing since I was a little girl. Creating has always been a natural part of my life. Being creative is a way for me to explore ideas, express emotions, and follow my curiosity.
Today I mainly work with pen and Posca on paper. My process is fast and intuitive: I put my pen to paper and see where it takes me. Lines grow into shapes, shapes into patterns, and flowing compositions. I rarely plan ahead. For me, the excitement comes from discovering the image as it unfolds.
Colour plays an important role in my work. I use it instinctively, choosing combinations that feel right in the moment. I’m drawn to bright, colourful palettes and forms that feel playful, flowing, and full of movement. I like my work to feel joyful, light, and fun.
My partner and I create together in our studio in North London, where ideas, materials, and inspiration are always in motion.
